Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola
During the school year, school buses pick up kids living on the prison grounds and drive them past death row (buildings on the right) and out the main gate to a school located three miles outside the prison walls. Even today, few will go past high school and most will end up working at the prison just like generations before them.
